Quantum Femmes are a brand new group formed in June 2020 for the Classical on Cuba festival in Wellington. As full time professional musicians, they play with the top symphony orchestras such as NZSO, APO and Orchestra Wellington. They have a wealth of experience in chamber music performance and a love for the historical aesthetic of the music they play. Currently establishing themselves as one of NZ’s premiere string groups, they delight in bringing a visual and historical element to the music in order to create a complete experience. They are planning performances in smaller Wellington venues in the latter part of 2020, and a national tour in 2021.
